All-Star Success in the Bay

February 20 — The NBA All-Star game returned to the Bay Area after a 25-year hiatus and was a huge success. The streets were covered with NBA fans from all over the country. Although there are varying opinions about the new All-Star game rules, the event in San Francisco was a major success.

Powell Street, also known as ‘All-Star Alley’, was filled with various events hosted by American Express, Google Pixel, Foot Locker, and more.

Exploring San Francisco as a tourist, an NBA fan, and an aspiring content creator was exciting. It allowed me to network with people from various backgrounds. Some of them were already following my socials! In the next 18 months, the Bay Area will host All-Star weekend, the Super Bowl in 2026 followed by the FIFA World Cup in the summer 😮 . Talk about a busy plate.

The Bay Area has had a bad rap the last few years, and these events will help put life back into the best city. All-Star was a major success. Hotels were filled, the streets were busy, and money was SPENT on everything, swag, food, and don’t get me started on the clubs.

2025 is about promoting the Bay Area, and I am excited about the events leading up to the Super Bowl and World Cup. If you haven’t had a chance to visit the Bay Area, now may be the time. Yes, it is expensive, but what isn’t at this point? 😎
