May 7, 2025 – The beginning of this year has been pretty draining for me personally. Last month was especially rough, but luckily, I have a great family support system.
Being unemployed this long and working towards your dream is no joke. I should probably get a part-time job, to give myself some sort of structure, but summer is right around the corner… The best excuse NOT to get a job 😆 .
I committed to posting every day this month, and I’m currently behind. Not because I don’t have content, but because I lack structure. I used to work a full-time job, bartend after work, film and produce a football show, and manage two separate social media accounts. I know how to juggle multiple projects when I’m busy.
But the freedom I have now is almost too much. I wake up when I want, exercise when I want, and rarely post. I’ve been unemployed for six months and haven’t grown my social platforms at all. Clearly, this way isn’t helping, it’s hurting me.
So I decided to commit to posting every day during May. Sure, I am behind, but this time I will not give up. To improve I need more content. I need more data to compare which posts are successful vs which posts I should scrap.
Sports content is constantly ongoing which tends to make me fall off the wagon. Mentally I feel I should comment on every single notification, but in reality, I need to make content on what is most important to me (to start.)
If anyone has helpful tips on how to stay on top of things regarding content creation I would love to hear them. I’ve used ChatGPT, I’ve made lists, journaled, you name it I’ve tried it.
